Improve your cardiac point-of-care ultrasound skills! Experienced cardiac sonographers will provide specialist demonstration and guidance of this complex skill.
Teaching focusses on application to common critical care scenarios with plenty of hands-on practice, culminating with a cardiologist led discussion on integration into clinical practice on the Sunday morning.
Please note: Limited places (2 students per machine).
Our Cardiac Pocus Workshops include:
- Two Students to one machine, capped at ten participants
- ASUM accreditated Rapid Cardiac Echo component
- CICM, ACEM, RACGP, ANZCA approved CPD
- Cardiologist Presentation/Discussion
- Experienced Sonographer Educators
- Use of High-end Philips ultrasound machines
The workshop will be held on Wednesday 9am to 4pm, and Thursday 9am to 12.30pm

The Cardiac PoCUS Workshop will be held on the 17th and 18th February 2027 at Seminar Rooms, Medical Education Building, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch WA.Â
